Hi

Well I've called in sick again today, now by elbows and arms hurt. I need to mention my elbows next week at my appointment, as I haven't been able to stretch my arms out for a long time. they look horrible when i look in the mirror from the side. Although probably haven't helped myself this week not doing any thing maybe thats why i feel so stiff, but everything seems to take up to much energy Sad

Does anyone else find this?

Hi Lou. I am afraid there is no rhyme nor reason to this illness. I am quite stiff today but because I did a lot yesterday. It is trying to find a balance between doing too much and not doing enough. Hope you feel better soon.

Hello Lou,

I totally understand what you're saying about being stiff and achy. I am on summer hols at the moment and want to do so much, but my body has other ideas about that.

I was in constant agony today with my back. I had to keep sitting down, took painkillers etc. It makes me feel totally inadequate and very frustrated indeed. I was only washing up, hoovering etc, not exactly laboring on a building site!!!!

GRRRRRRRR!!!!

I wake up in the morning-raring to go and find it's quickly replaced by the memory of aching, fatigue, frustration etc. I live in hope that I will get a lot better than this.

Take care

Hi Lou,

I am not sure what to attribute my constant fatigue to as I am nursing a baby and much as this relaxes you beautifully, I do always feel overly tired..

Have you had a full iron level check recently? People who have RA sometimes become anemic and extreme tiredness is a sign.

With mine they always check all the iron levels;

It may be that you just need an iron supplement or can institute more red meat and spinach etc into your diet....

Love,

Amanda
